Goethe-Zertifikat A1 (Start German 1) Exam Schedule
The official list below shows time periods that are reserved not confirmed exams. Check with your instructor if the final exam for a course will be held during this time period.

Locations
The Exam Schedule lists the locations in which DEP conducts operator certification exams. Check out the individual exam pages for additional guidelines, terms and conditions and exam content. If you need special accommodations because of chronic illness, visual or hearing impairment or other limitations, contact the exam provider and provide detailed documentation when registering.
The Faculty Dashboard in Workday includes the option of "View My Teaching Schedule" which lets faculty locate their exam schedules. In addition, the Registrar's Office has a list of exam times for classes in which an exam is required by NYSED regulations. Final exams for evening classes are scheduled during the regular class times of the final examination weeks.
Please be aware that the Projected University Examination Schedule is only a guideline and that the dates for the final exam are subject to change.
Registration
The exam schedule is accessible online, and students are advised to look it up. It is important to keep in mind that the schedule for exams may change at any time. Students should therefore consult their instructors to confirm the correct time and date of their test. Students should also print the official list to take to their exam.

Exam locations make every effort to accommodate students who have special requirements. The nature and severity of these needs should be noted on the registration form and confirmed by an attestation from a doctor. Additionally the exam sites must respect and maintain confidentiality.
If a student has three examinations scheduled on the same day, it is recommended to contact their instructor or department to arrange an exam to make up. It is possible to take three examinations on the same day. However, this can lead to a high level of stress and affect the quality. Additionally, the instructor might not be able to conduct a makeup test on another day.
Students must review their course material before taking the test and work on their German skills. The exam is a paper test that tests your ability to read and write, as well as speak German.
